The pieces
All Casa APUKAI pieces are designed and made in Peru from fibers grown in Peru. Learn more about our values in our philosophy.
Vicuñas live in the wild in the Andes and are protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Their fiber may only be traded if it comes from the Chaccu, the traditional shearing of live animals under government supervision. Every one of our Vicuña pieces bears a batch number that allows its journey to be traced back to the highlands.
Each of our fibers deserves its own special care. You can find detailed care instructions on our care page.
